upcycled
/ˈəpˌsīkəld/
adjective
  1. (of discarded objects or material) reused in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original.

The classic wikipedia description of upcycling perfectly highlights what I do for a living; I study my worn or used subject like a hawk in the sky, descending on it with a burning creativity of vibrancy and warmth. I recreate new life from old; and I absolutely love it. But what if we could up-cycle our life? What if we could create a new us, from the old us? The great news is we totally can, and are completely capable of something amazing!

It can be hard to imagine creating an entirely new you; i mean you might even be asking yourself: Erin, is that possible? How can I be a different me…of I am already me?! Well, I am here to tell you that you absolutely can up-cycle parts of you to recreate and reinvigorate your soul. Recreating really starts from with in and working on self worth, and how much value you place on yourself. Do you know how much you are worth? Well, I am here to tell you that you are priceless! Self worth is not easy, I am not going to lie and say” Just have it, it is so simple”! But there are small steps you can make towards building it up. Such as:

1.) Start a daily gratitude list, start with one thing and build from there.

2.) Start every day with a positive, changing your perspective makes all the difference.

3.) Pay it forward and do something kid for someone else.

4.) Find a therapist; trust me it will change your world.

These are just a few ways that you can start building your self worth, and shedding that old you to up-cycle into a fresh and healthy you!
